A few things...
"Let's go see Tony tonight!" The LA musician has been delighting his audiences in Beverly Hills and around the world for more than 3 decades. He is best known as a live piano entertainer, building his reputation during a 7-year run at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel, 12 years and counting at Polo Lounge, as well as 6 years at Hotel Bel Air. Tony's passionate stylings, personalized songs, and huge repertoire come together to spoil his regulars and thrill new listeners. After years of numerous casual events around the city, he was hired as a nightly regular at the original Ma Maison restaurant on Melrose, a groundbreaking LA landmark, whose impact on the West Coast dining scene is still felt today. Celebrities and global royalty were often the subject of Tony's spontaneous roasts, bestowed upon anyone from crown princes to rock stars to Hollywood icons. Cobb has been a resident entertainer at global resorts from Switzerland to St. Tropez, and for 10 years was featured on dozens of luxury world cruises. He's also the son of the late legendary Oscar-nominated actor Lee J. Cobb, who, in addition to creating unforgettable roles in films like "On The Waterfront", "12 Angry Men", and "The Exorcist", was himself a harmonica and violin prodigy. Tony is also a film and TV composer, voice actor and member of BMI. Despite years of travel, Tony Cobb remains a true local, having played every major LA restaurant and hotel here at one time or another (see clients/venues). Asked for a quote, he responds: "Show them everything you've got, or they'll think you're something you're not!" His deep devotion to special-needs and rescue cats, and motorcycles, simply fuels his genuine desire to reach people through their hearts, by way of his expressive music.
